Prohibitions

You must not misuse the TIG Website by knowingly introducing or transmitting or distributing a virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb or post any other material which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene.

You must not misuse the TIG Website by committing or encouraging a criminal offence.

You must not misuse the TIG Website by hacking into any aspect of the service, availability or content of the TIG Website. 

You must not misuse the TIG Website by corrupting data and/or causing annoyance to other users, and/or infringing upon the rights of any other person’s proprietary rights, and/or sending any unsolicited advertising or promotional material, commonly referred to as “spam”, and/or attempting to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities accessed through the TIG Website.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the TIG Website, the server on which the TIG Website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to the TIG Website. 

You must not attack the TIG Website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

TIG will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use the TIG Website will cease immediately.

Intellectual Property Rights

TIG, or the applicable third-party owner, retains all rights, titles and interest (including copyrights, designs, trademarks, patents, as well as any other intellectual property or other right) in all information and content (including all text, data, icons, graphics and logos) on the TIG Website. The trademarks, service marks, designs, product names, packaging and logos (collectively, the “Trademarks”) displayed on the TIG Website are the registered and unregistered Trademarks of TIG and its licensors. Indemnity

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The Terms are governed by Singaporean law. You and TIG both agree that the courts of Singapore, Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction of any disputes.

The Internet is a universally accessible medium. Ordinary e-mail messages sent over the Internet are neither confidential nor secure. They may be easily accessible by third parties and may entail a considerable amount of danger and risk including:  lack of confidentiality (e-mails and their attachments can be read and/or monitored without detection); manipulation or falsification of the sender’s address or of the e-mail (or attachment/s) content (e.g. changing the sender’s address(es) or details); system outages and other transmission errors, which can cause e-mails and their attachments to be delayed, mutilated, misrouted and deleted; viruses, worms, Trojan horses etc. may be spread undetected by third parties and may cause considerable damage and interception by third parties.
